Weekend in NYC

I had a whirlwind adventure in New York City for 3 days over the Canadian thanksgiving with my friends Brynn and Emily.

Day 1

Flying in

Canal Street + Market

Chelsea Market

The Whitney

I recorded my outfit everyday that we were there. When I fly comfort is key 🙌 I love this combo with my velvet romper and cozy long sleeve. It’s super comfy for the plane but looks great after so I can jump into my day once I land. I can also take off the long sleeve and the romper becomes evening wear. My scarf is the vinyasa scarf from Lululemon so I can make it into a blanket for the plane. Then I put on my Saje eye mask and I’m out 😴

We flew in around noon into New Jersey and took the train into New York. After checking into the Canal Street Hotel we walked through Canal Street and all the way to Chelsea and the Whitney Museum. We stopped at the Canal Street Market and open art exhibits along the way. We had dinner Chelsea Market which consisted of an amazing roasted cauliflower followed by pumpkin gelato. The Whitney was open late that night we loved touring through the exhibits one of the best parts was the outdoor walkway which had a beautiful view of the city.

Day 2

MoMA

Broadway Matinee

More MoMA

MoMA Design Store

Central Park

Serendipity 3

Times Square

I packed super light for New York so I needed clothes that could work double time. Wore my dress as a shirt while running around during the day and as a dress when we went out in the evening.

We started our morning at the MOMA before heading to a matinee of Aladdin on Broadway we didn't get through all the floors so we went back after. We spent the late afternoon chilling in central park. And in the evening we went to Serendipity 3 for their famous frozen hot chocolate and spent the night in time square watching the giant screens.

Day 3

Brunch at the Bedford

Brookyln Boutiques

Glossier

Canal Street Market

After checking out we had a yummy brunch in Brooklyn at The Bedford and walked around to the shops and the the Brooklyn Art Library. After visiting one cute shop Love Only the owner directed us to some other local boutiques, Concrete and Water and In God We Trust. I bought some cute pants at Love Only but I loved everything in there just look at that rack 😍. After we headed back to Canal Street and the glossier store. Talk about an amazing brand experience 🙌 We loved hanging out in their penthouse I’m excited to use their products for the first time.
